months of the southern hemisphere the stunning
humpback whales migrate north to the warm waters
of the Great Barrier Reef where they mate and
also give birth. Hervey Bay plays host to
these majestic mammals and their new calves for
a few months before their annual journey returns
them to Antarctica.
